Bydd yr ail gasgliad post y dydd yn cael ei ddiddymu oherwydd ei fod yn costio gormod i'w rhedeg. Bydd amser gwaith y gweithwyr yn cael ei newid. Y bwriad ydyw y bydd hyn yn golygu fod y gwasanaeth yn fwy effeithlon ac yn y pendraw yn sicrhau ei barhad ynghyd a sicrhau swyddi tymor hir.

Rural postal services in the LL postcode area are under threat according to North Wales Royal Mail Area manager Mr Ian Johnston. Due to increasing competition and the need to improve efficiency, second collections from the rural pedal boxes will be cut.
As a result of the single deliveries a day taking place later in the day, the second collection is extremely costly in terms of manpower as regards to the amount of post collected. Inevitable overtime and duty structures will be implemented along with the loss of services in the attempt to safeguard market share and long term job security.
