i saer a drigai yng Nghae'r eos, bwthyn sydd wedi hen ddiflannu,
ond a safai ar dir Sgubor-bach yn Aberdaron, oedd y cymeriad
od hwnnw, Dic Aberdaron (Richard Robert Jones, 1780- 1843).
Athrylith rhyfedd ydoedd a grwydrai o amgylch y wlad gyda'i
gath a'i Iyfrau. Dywedir iddo ddysgu ei hun i siarad 14 o ieithoedd
a hynny heb erioed gael fawr addysg ffurfiol. Dywedir y gallai
hefyd godi cythreuliaid. |
The
son of a carpenter who lived in Cae'r eos, a cottage that has
long since fallen, but that stood on the land of Sgubor Bach in
Aberdaron, was the eccentric character known as Dic Aberdaron
(Richard Robert Jones, 1780-18430. A strange character he would
roam around the country with his cat and his books. He is said
to have been able to speak in 14 languages all with little formal
education. He was also said to have been able to summon spirits. |
